Appeal for witnesses in tragedy chanting investigation

It's reported to have happened at the Carlisle United v Bradford match

Officers are appealing for witnesses as part of an ongoing investigating into reported tragedy chanting at a football match involving Carlisle United vs Bradford City.

The chanting is reported to have occurred near to the segregation line between Carlisle and Bradford supporters in the Andrew Jenkins Stand at Brunton Park.

The chants were heard during the first half of the fixture on Saturday 18 January.

Four males were arrested on Saturday in connection with this incident. All four, from Cumbria, were subsequently bailed pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward with information in relation to this incident.
