Two charged after £100k-worth of ketamine found in Carlisle vehicle stop

Two men have been charged after officers found £100,000-worth of ketamine during a vehicle stop near Carlisle.

Officers say they stopped the vehicle just after midnight on Saturday (31st January).

They found 5kg of ketamine with an estimated street value of £100,000, and a smaller amount of cocaine.

22-year-old Robbie McBride and 23-year-old Shaun Crotty, who are both from Glasgow, have been charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug- cocaine
  • Failing to stop a vehicle
  • Possession with intent to supply a Class B drug – ketamine
  • Possession of criminal property

They've both been remanded into custody.
