Man charged after £100k of cannabis was found in car in Penrith

A man has been charged after officers in Cumbria found cannabis with a potential street value of £100,000 in his car.

35-year-old Mantas Sulman has been charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

He was charged at Carlisle Magistrates Court today (18th December).

The court heard how officers stopped his car in Penrith yesterday afternoon (17th December).

They found 10kg of cannabis whilst searching.

Sulman is yet to be sentenced.
