Woman in her 60s dies after crash on M6 near Coventry
The collision happened on the northbound slip road at the Exhall Interchange, just after 5pm on Tuesday 26 May
A woman in her 60s has died after a crash on the M6 northbound near Coventry.
Emergency Services were called to the slip road at junction 3 at around 5pm on Tuesday 26 May after reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a black Mercedes car and a black Mercedes taxi.
A passenger in the taxi – a woman in her 60s - was seriously injured and died in hospital on 3 June.
Her family are being supported by a specially trained officer.
The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured.
Police say enquiries into the collision are ongoing and they are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
