Two woman injured after fire at property in Atherstone

Two woman have been injured after a fire at a property in Atherstone last night (18th May).

Emergency Services were called to Tamworth Road just after 9pm following reports of a fire at a domestic property.

Crews from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene for just over two hours and used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said two women sustained injuries and were treated at the scene before being taken to the George Eliot Hospital.
