Woman and teenager charged with distraction burglaries
They've been charged with six counts of distraction burglary and one count of attempted distraction burglary
A woman and a teenage girl have both been charged following a burglary in Nuneaton.
Dorina Marin, aged 31 and a 17-year-old girl who cannot be named for legal reasons, both of Romford, Essex, were charged yesterday (Wednesday 15 October) with six counts of distraction burglary and one count of attempted distraction burglary.
One of the distraction burglaries and the attempted distraction burglary are alleged to have taken place on 9 October in Attleborough, Nuneaton.
The five other offences took place in the West Midlands area.
Officers worked on a joint investigation with West Midlands Police to secure the charges.
Both have been remanded in custody and will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 16 October).
