Six arrested on suspicion of abduction after missing Warwickshire girls found in Cornwall

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of abduction after the disappearance of two girls from Warwickshire, who were found more than 200 miles away.
The girls aged 11 and 12 were last seen in the Newbold area of Rugby in the early hours of Sunday before they were found by police in Cornwall yesterday (11 August).
Two men, aged 62 and 25 and a woman, aged 56, from Tintagel, Cornwall, a 42-year-old man from Falmouth were arrested this morning along with two women, aged 75 and 47, from Rugby.
All six have been arrested on suspicion of abduction and remain in custody.
Warwickshire Police have been investigating how the girls came to be in Cornwall.
The forced added that the suspects are all known to the girls and there is "no wider threat to the community."
Chief Superintendent Jon Belcher said: "The people who are currently in custody are all known to the girls so there was and is no wider threat to the community.
“Over the coming days, officers will be out and about in the community and in areas of interest, speaking to the community and conducting house-to-house enquiries.
“If you have any concerns, please talk with them."
