Six people arrested in Coventry murder investigation

Six people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Michael Ababio in Coventry.

Michael Ababio, an 18-year-old, died after being stabbed near Foleshill Library on 22nd February.

Police made the arrests overnight in Nuneaton and North Wales.

Three teenage boys aged 17 and 19 have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Additionally, a girl aged 17, a woman aged 19, and a man aged 23 have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All six individuals are currently in custody as police investigations continue.

Authorities are still looking for Ismael Nabeel in connection with this case.

Detective Inspector Nigel Box, leading the investigation, emphasised the importance of these arrests.

"These arrests are a significant development in our investigation, and we have updated Michael’s family as we continue to support them," he said.
