A reward of up to £5,000 is being offered for information passed directly to Crimestoppers that leads to the location of Adrian Lewicki, who is wanted by Warwickshire Police in connection with a reported rape and assault in Nuneaton.

The £5,000 reward supersedes the previous offer publicised on 22 June of £1,000 from Crimestoppers - as the hunt for Lewicki intensifies.

The appeal follows a report made to police that a woman had been raped and assaulted in a flat on the night of 14 June. Police have told Crimestoppers that an investigation is ongoing and that officers want to speak to Lewicki, aged 31, as part of their enquiries.

Crimestoppers is now urging anyone who may know Lewicki’s whereabouts to come forward anonymously. He is believed to have connections to Nuneaton and Coventry, and links to Morecambe in Lancashire.

The independent charity is separate from the police and guarantees that anyone contacting them will remain completely anonymous. Calls are never recorded, no personal details are taken, and information is passed on without anyone knowing who stepped forward, including staff at Crimestoppers.

Alan Edwards, Regional Manager for the West Midlands at Crimestoppers, said: “We understand that speaking up can feel like a big step, especially in cases of this nature. That’s why Crimestoppers exists: to give people a safe and secure way to share what they know, without ever having to give their name or speak to the police.

“Someone out there may have seen or heard something that could help locate Adrian Lewicki. No piece of information is too small, and your voice could make a real difference. Our charity is here purely to help keep people safe.”
