Police investigate after man injured outside Warwickshire pub

A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted outside a Warwickshire pub.

The incident happened at the Bell Inn pub on Birmingham Road just after midnight on Saturday.

One man was reportedly assaulted and struck by the driver of a car in the car park.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to hospital where his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

It is alleged that one of the offenders was in possession of a machete.

No arrests have been made with investigations ongoing.
