Specialist officers are carrying out searches as Warwickshire Police continue to investigate the disappearance of a Nuneaton woman.

Katie Love was reported missing to police on Monday 23 February 2026.

The investigation is with the major crime team who say they are increasingly concerned the 48-year-old may have come to harm.

Officers say they've been reviewing CCTV footage from the days before she disappeared and speaking to Katie’s family and friends.

There is also an online portal, where people can share information anonymously.

This afternoon (Thursday 19 March 2026), there have been specially-trained officers in Winfield Road in Nuneaton and the surrounding area, which is where Katie’s car was found.

As well as going door-to-door to speak to the local community, officers have been searching the roads and nearby drains to try and find any of Katie’s personal effects.

Last week, independent charity Crimestoppers confirmed they were offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information that led to Katie, who has connections to Skegness and Nuneaton, being found.

Two men from Nuneaton – aged 48 and 49 – previously arrested on suspicion of murder were released pending further enquiries.

If you can help or know anything about Katie’s disappearance, you are being asked to submit it via the online portal, report it online, or get in touch with Warwickshire Police or Crimestoppers via their website quoting incident number 143 of 23 February.
