A 41 year-old man is being prosecuted in the UK, over an alleged domestic-related assault at a bar in Turkey, a court has heard.

Warwick Crown Court was told evidence in the case against Kevin Norris includes “viral” social media footage of the alleged attack on July 1 this year.

Norris, who was bailed to an address in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, pleaded not guilty, during a 30-minute hearing, to committing an assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Kerry Millerchip.

Prosecutor, Simon Jones, appearing via video-link, told today’s hearing that the Crown’s case was that CCTV of the incident showed Ms Millerchip being “effectively knocked unconscious”.

Ordering Norris to appear at a further hearing on November 11, Judge Matthew Walsh told him his bail conditions included a condition of residence and an instruction not to contact the alleged victim.

The judge set a trial date of May 15 2028.
