Motorcyclist dies after fatal collision in Middleton
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency workers
A motorcyclist has died following a fatal collision involving their bike and a car in the Warwickshire town of Middleton.
Emergency workers were alerted to the incident taking place just before 9pm on Thursday evening (September 3rd).
When officers arrived at the scene - on the junction of Bodymoor Heath Road and the A4091 - they found that a car and a motorbike had collided with each other.
Two ambulances were called to the scene, as well as paramedic officer as well as the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Critical Care Car.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service later confirmed that they had performed emergency measures to try and resuscitate the man.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Upon arrival we found a man who was the motorcyclist in a critical condition being cared for by an off-duty nurse.
“He received advanced trauma care and advanced life support from ambulance staff at the scene.
“Despite their best efforts, it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased by ambulance staff at the scene.”
