Man in life-threatening condition after serious assault in Coventry

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was seriously assaulted in Coventry.
A man in his 40s was attacked in Waterloo Street, Coventry, at around 4am on Tuesday, before his assailant left in a blue electric car.
He suffered serious head injuries, and is currently in a life threatening condition.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
