Man dies in Stratford upon Avon collision with car

Pedestrian confirmed dead despite advanced life support efforts

A man has died following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Stratford upon Avon.

The incident occurred last night on Warwick Road, prompting a swift response from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.51pm.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Critical Care Car from the Air Ambulance Service were dispatched.

A spokeswoman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, crews found the pedestrian, a man, in a critical condition.

“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.

“There were no other patients.”
