Man dies following incident at Coventry park

A man has died following an incident at Wyken Croft Nature Park in Coventry.
Emergency services were called there early this morning (Wednesday 15th July 2026) to reports of a medical emergency.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
"We were called to a medical emergency at Wyken Croft Nature Park at 5.46am, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered one patient, a man.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said:
"Officers attended Wyken Croft Nature Park shortly before 6am this morning (15 July) following concerns for a person's welfare.
"Sadly, a man was confirmed dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious , and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
