Man charged with multiple sexual offences to face court next month

A 31-year-old man has been remanded in prison after being charged with multiple sex offences, including rape and intentional strangulation.

Adrian Lewicki, who has no fixed abode, was apprehended by police in Plymouth on 3rd July following appeals for information concerning a sexual assault in Nuneaton on 14th June.

Lewicki faces charges for seven counts of rape, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of assault by penetration, and other offences including false imprisonment and assault by beating.

He appeared before magistrates in Coventry on 4th July, where it was determined he will remain in remand until his next appearance at Warwick Crown Court on 3rd August.
