Man charged with multiple offences after protest in Warwick

A 26-year-old man has been charged with assault by beating after a protest in Warwick in February.

Ryan Ferguson, of Barberry Crescent, Bootle has also been charged with racially or religiously aggravated harassment and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress

The charges relate to an incident at a protest in Warwick Town Centre on Saturday 7 February 2026.

Ferguson is due to appear at Leamington Spa Magistrates’ Court on 3 July 2026.
