Man charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in Dordon

A man has been charged following a knife attack at a social club in Dordon in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A man in his 30s had been found to have suffered cuts to his arm and hand. His injuries were assessed as not serious.

41‑year‑old Robert Scarley, of Coppice Drive, Dordon was arrested a short time later, at his home address in connection with the incident.

He has been charged with Section 18 wounding (grievous bodily harm with intent) and remanded in custody and is due to appear before Coventry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
