Man arrested after serious collision in Coventry
A man in his 50s is in hospital with potentially life changing injuries
A 27-year-old man has been arrested following a collision in Coventry, which left a pedestrian in his 50s with suspected life-changing injuries.
The collision occurred last night (22nd January) at around 9.45pm on Radford Road, and police say the driver involved did not stop at the scene.
The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, failing to stop following a road traffic collision, and failing to report a road traffic collision.
He remains in custody as investigations continue.
Officers are appealing for information and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or has relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
