Man arrested after Coventry stabbing

Police have arrested a man, after a teenager was stabbed in Coventry.

An 18 year-old man was found with stab wounds, on Far Gosford Street, at just after 10.40pm yesterday (25 August).

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, although they're not currently believed to be life-threatening.

Officers have detained an 18 year-old earlier this morning, on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in custody for questioning.

Police are working, to establish exactly who was involved and why. A cordon remains in place.

They understand there were a number of people in the area at the time and are keen to hear from anyone who has information. They're particularly interested in speaking to anybody who has any footage and who was travelling through the area and has dashcam footage.
