Man appears in court after assault at store in Coventry

A man has appeared in court in connection with an incident at a supermarket in Coventry.

Aaron O’Loughlin, a 33-year-old from Coventry, faced charges of criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, assault, and theft.

The charges follow an attack on staff at a store on Warwick Road, Coventry, on 24th February, shortly before 8.20am.

O’Loughlin has been held in custody and will next appear at Warwick Crown Court on 26th March.
