A woman has been charged, in connection with a murder in Kenilworth.

Virginia Eales, 73, from Kenilworth, has been charged with assisting an offender.

Her first appearance in court will be on 2 October, at Warwickshire Magistrates Court.

This is relating to an investigation into the alleged murder of a man in his 40s, in Kenilworth, on 20 March 2026.

Police responded, along with paramedics, after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man in a house on Chestnut Avenue, just before midnight on 20 March 2026.

45 year-old Carl Stephens had died.
