Hunt for suspect after woman stabbed in Coventry

Police seek help to locate 21-year-old Deara Sadiq

A manhunt is underway in Coventry as police seek 21-year-old Deara Sadiq in connection with a stabbing incident that has left a woman in her 20s seriously injured.

The attack occurred in the early hours of 18th February at a residence on Swanswell Street.

Emergency services arrived just before 4.30am to find the woman with multiple stab wounds.

She was swiftly transported to the hospital, where her condition remains critical.

Authorities have identified Deara Sadiq as the prime suspect.

Originally from Coventry, they are urging anyone with information to contact them using the emergency number 999 and quote reference 20/151390/26, advising the public not to approach him directly.
