Police investigating Reanne Coulson's murder launch new witness appeal

A 42 year old man has been charged with her murder.

Police investigating the murder of Reanne Coulson have launched a renewed appeal for witnesses and information. Detectives are trying to find out more about the day she died.

Reanne's initial disappearance led to a major investigation and her body was then found in Binley Woods on the 27th of June. Detectives believe that her body was taken to the woods on the 22nd of June, a day after she died.

A 42-year-old man has been charged with her murder and a second man, aged 38, has been charged with assisting an offender. They have been remanded in custody.

Detective Inspector Nigel Box, said: “We want to hear from anyone who visits Binley Woods, particularly near Gossett Lane, at the end of the Twelve O’clock Ride, whether you are a dog walker, cyclist or runner. If you visited the woods on 22 May, we need to hear from you."

“Please get in touch with us if you were there around 7.30am in the morning but also at any points during the day and noticed anything suspicious. "

“We believe a fire was ignited at some point in the day and we would like anyone who saw this to contact us."

“If you have any dash cam, mobile phone or video footage then please submit it to us via our public portal.”

He added: “Our thoughts remain with Reanne’s family and we continue to update and support them throughout out investigation.”
