People living near a new housing estate in Kenilworth have just days left to have their say on plans to half the speed limit on the road outside.

Plans would see the speed limit cut from the national limit to thirty miles an hour, with part of the road potentially closed to through traffic near the golf club entrance.

According to Warwickshire County Council, the speed limit proposals are due to plans for new homes, schools and workplaces around the south and east side of Kenilworth.

The Council says that any objections or representations must be made in writing and the closing date for it to receive them is Thursday 8th of January 2026.
