Fourth arrest after shooting in Tile Hill leaves one man critically injured

A man in his 20s has now been arrested, while three others have been bailed

Police investigating a shooting in Coventry which left a man in a critical condition have made another arrest.

Officers were called to Robert Mountford Way in Tile Hill just after 8:30pm on Wednesday (13th May)

A man in his 20s was arrested overnight in connection with the incident.

Three men who were arrested previously have been released on bail with strict conditions.

A man who sustained a life-threating gunshot wound to the chest remains in hospital while a second man who was shot in the leg is not thought to have life-threatening injuries.

West Midlands Police say officers will remain in the area today (15th May) and at the weekend carrying out enquiries with footage from the scene being reviewed as part of the investigation.

Neighbourhood teams are also carrying out patrols in the area to offer reassurance.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was nearby or has information regarding the incident to come forward.
