Fire crews tackle blaze on Cheveral Road in Coventry

Fire crews have been rushed out to Coventry today after a blaze a house.

It's reported that smoke could have been seen from miles around after the fire took hold.

Police were also called to the scene.

Sharing the incident this morning, West Midlands Fire said: "We have Four crews and 1 HP in attendance at Cheveral Road, Coventry, where they have responded to a house fire.

"Please avoid the area, where possible."
