Police attended a road traffic collision on Wharf Street on Saturday evening (15/08), where the driver of a vehicle was found to be intoxicated.

Both occupants of the vehicle underwent a roadside breath test and failed, leading to their arrest on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit.

They have been released on bail pending the return of blood test results from the laboratory.
