100,000 descend on Coventry to watch Take That's 'Circus' come to town

In a dazzling three-night residency, Take That brought live music magic to the Coventry Building Society Arena, captivating over 100,000 fans with their signature performances.

Belinda Carlisle and Irish band The Script joined as supporting acts, setting the stage with a hit-filled set and high energy each night.
The main event saw Take That return to Coventry nearly 17 years on, bringing a carnival of dancers, circus acts, confetti, and fireworks to the arena.
The act performed their career-spanning classics, including A Million Love Songs and Rule the World, engaging thousands of fans across the Midlands, the UK, and Europe.
Paul Michael, Managing Director at Coventry Building Society Arena, praised the memorable performances and highlighted the venue's role in enriching the local economy through such major events.
He said: “We have had some unforgettable nights of music at this venue, but these three evenings were right up there.
“To stage three back-to-back stadium shows for the first time since we last welcomed Take That was incredibly special.
“It was not only a huge moment for the Arena, but for the whole of Coventry and the wider region too, with thousands of fans spending time in the city before and after the shows and helping to deliver a major boost to the local economy.
“Nights like these are exactly why this venue was built. Coventry Building Society Arena was designed to bring major events to the region and attract visitors from across the UK and Europe.
“We will continue to strive to bring the biggest names in live music to the stage here at Coventry Building Society Arena for years to come."
