Coventry City sign Ethan Pinnock from Brentford
The defender has spent the last seven seasons with the Bees, five of those in the Premier League
Coventry City FC have announced the signing of Ethan Pinnock from Brentford.
The 33-year-old has arrives on a permanent contract for an undisclosed fee.
In a statement, Coventry City FC said:
"The defender has spent the last seven seasons with the Bees, five of those in the Premier League.
"He began his career in non-league with Dulwich Hamlet. He enjoyed a six-year spell with the south-east London outfit and won promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2013.
"His performances caught the eye of National League side Forest Green Rovers who signed him in 2016.
"Pinnock enjoyed a successful season in Gloucestershire as he helped Forest Green reach the EFL via the National League play-offs.
"His standout performances convinced then Championship side Barnsley to offer him a three-year contract.
"He played 67 times during a two-year stint at Oakwell before making the move to Brentford in 2019 and he went on to make 216 appearances for the Bees.
"Pinnock has also represented Jamaica 28 times and has played in the Copa America and Gold Cup for his country."
On joining the Sky Blues, Pinnock said:

“After 25 years, the Club are back in the Premier League, and I know how much it must mean to everyone involved with the Club and the supporters. I can’t wait to be part of it.
