A cannabis farm containing over 100 plants has been discovered in Coventry, leading to the arrest of two men today.

Officers attended an address on Hipswell Highway, where the cannabis operation was uncovered, and the men, both in their 20s, were taken into custody on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

Investigations by police are ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with further information to contact them, quoting log 1947 of 5th October.

Cannabis farms pose significant risks, with large volumes of electricity illegally bypassed to heat growing rooms, increasing the chance of catastrophic fires in empty properties or derelict commercial buildings.

Police continue to collaborate with utility providers and local authorities to address the crime, antisocial behaviour, and safety risks associated with such activities.

Residents who suspect drug-related crimes in their area are encouraged to report them to the police, helping build a clearer picture for future operations.
