Antisemitic graffiti found on memorial in Coventry cemetery

Hate crime investigation launched by Coventry Police

Antisemitic graffiti has been discovered on a memorial in London Road cemetery, Coventry, prompting a hate crime investigation led by Coventry Police.

Detective Inspector Sherrie Kimberley is leading the investigation and emphasized the seriousness of the crime.

“This is a completely unacceptable attack at a place which should be one of quiet remembrance," Kimberley said.

“We treat every hate crime seriously and will be carrying out a full investigation to bring those involved to justice.”

The police department is collaborating with cemetery staff to gather more details about the incident.
