Traffic disruption as A46 in Warwickshire closed after crash

A section of the A46 in Warwickshire has been closed northbound following a crash earlier this morning.

The road closure stretches between the A452 near Kenilworth and the A45 towards Coventry.

Police from Warwickshire are on the scene conducting a collision investigation.

National Highways has indicated that drivers should expect delays while travelling in the area.

Despite the closure, National Highways has reported no significant delays approaching the area as of their latest update.

The exact reopening time of the road remains uncertain.

Not too far away, police have also closed the A46 southbound in Warwickshire between the A435 Oversley Mill Roundabout and the B439 Salford Priors Roundabout following a road traffic collision.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, with National Highways Traffic Officers assisting in traffic management.

Travellers heading southbound are advised to follow diversion routes marked by hollow diamond symbols on road signs.
