£10,000 reward offered for arrest of 21-year-old wanted for Coventry stabbing
Crimestoppers appeals for anonymous information on Deara Sadiq
A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for information that could lead to the arrest of Deara Sadiq, who is wanted in connection with a stabbing incident in Coventry.
The attack took place on 18th February when officers were called to Swansell Street, where a woman in her 20s was discovered with multiple stab wounds.
Deara Sadiq, a 21-year-old from Coventry, has been identified as the main suspect in this case.
The victim suffered severe injuries, including defensive wounds on her hands requiring surgery, which have resulted in significant life-altering consequences.
The independent charity Crimestoppers is asking anyone with knowledge of Deara Sadiq’s whereabouts to come forward anonymously.
They have announced a reward of up to £10,000 for information given directly to them that leads to his arrest.
Detective Sergeant Jasmine Hall from Coventry Police said: “A young woman has been left with life-changing injuries following this awful attack."
“I would appeal to anyone who has information on Deara’s whereabout to get in touch. Crimestoppers are offering a reward and it’s completely anonymous. The smallest bit of information could help our investigation."
