Woman suffers life-threatening injuries after crash near Penzance on Christmas Eve

Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage following a single car crash near Penzance which left a woman seriously injured.

Emergency services were called just after 1.30pm on Christmas Eve after a red Seat Ibiza was in collision with a fence on Tregembo Hill in Relubbus.

The driver, in her 30s and from Penzance, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Roads policing officers attended the scene and carried out an examination. The road was closed for more than four-and-a-half hours.

They are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and appealing for anyone with information to come forward. They are keen to receive any relevant dashcam footage.
