Two men charged with murder after Liskeard man's death
The men are due to appear at Truro Magistrates Court tomorrow
Two men have been charged with murder after the death of a man at a house in Liskeard.
Ian Davis, 56, who lived in the town was found with multiple injuries in a property at Baytree Hill on the evening of Sunday 13 September.
He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police arrested four men on suspicion of murder and they were subsequently bailed.
In an update today (30 September) the force said Darrell Rowland, 49, from Trevarthian Road, St Austell and Sukhvinder Singh Shokur, 58, from Liskeard have since been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and charged.
Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (1 October.)
Police say a man in his 20s from Plymouth also arrested on suspicion of murder will face no further police action while a man in his 30s from Liskeard remains on police bail after previously being arrested on suspicion of murder.
