A rugby fun day is taking place in Bodmin, in memory of a man stabbed to death outside a Bodmin night club in April 2023.

Rugby was one of Michael Riddiough-Allen's passions and he was an active member of the Cornish rugby community.

The annual MIKES Rugby Tournament and Family Fun Weekend 2025 is happening on Saturday, May 31st at Bodmin RFC.

Kevin Allen, Mike's dad and part of the Trust, said: "He loved rugby, it was a rugby end of season night out where the incident occurred.

"This is a fun day of rugby, Mike loved playing rugby. We spent many Saturday's spent standing by the pitch as he played as a youngster."

Following Mike's death, MIKES Trust was set up to raise money and awareness against knife crime and educate people about the impact.
