Police appeal after pedestrian in her 90s seriously injured in Penzance

Police are appealing for witnesses, after a woman in her 90s suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car, in Newlyn, Penzance.
Officers were called to The Strand on Wednesday 1 July at around 11.40am.
The incident involved a pedestrian and a black Audi Q4.
The pedestrian, a 92 year-old local woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she currently remains. Her next-of-kin are aware.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience while the road was closed.
