Police appeal for witnesses after fatal road collision near Newquay Airport
A man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision near Newquay Airport yesterday.
At around 1.45pm on Monday afternoon, officers were called to the collision at Carnanton, close to the front of the airport. It involved two cars: Kia Picanto and a Peugeot 208.
The Kia's driver, a man in his 70s from Wadebridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kia passenger and the Peugeot driver, who are both adult females, were taken to hospital.
