Police appeal after woman assaulted near Padstow

Police have launched an appeal for information after a woman was assaulted near Padstow.

A woman was approached by a man wearing a red bucket hat in the area of Tregirls beach as she walked back in the direction of Padstow on Saturday June 21st before 9pm.

The woman made her way safely to Broad Street in Padstow after she reported he grabbed her.

A 39-year-old man from London has since been arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on bail until September while enquiries continue.
