Police are investigating after two cars were destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Camborne.

The fire happened in St Meriadoc Road at around 3.30am on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Police were called to the scene by the fire service who tackled the blaze.

Officers would now like to find and speak to a person they have released an image of, who is yet to be identified, as they may have information which could help the investigation.

A man aged in his 50s was previously been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Police Constable Emily Wood said: “Our investigation is continuing into this incident and we are specifically looking to identify the male pictured as part of these enquiries.

“We recognise the image is not of the best quality, but would urge anyone who may recognise this individual – or who may have seen someone of this appearance in the area at the time of the incident – to contact us.”
