Police appeal after serious assault in Liskeard
A man in his 40s sustained serious injuries
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Liskeard.
Officers were called shortly before 4pm yesterday (25 June) to the area of Market Street and Well Lane following a report of an assault involving two men.
The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital where he remains undergoing treatment.
The male suspect left the scene prior to police arrival andenquiries remain ongoing to identify and locate him.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information.
