Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a road rage incident in Truro.

Two drivers were involved in a confrontation at traffic lights at Newquay Road Retail Park around 9.20am on 20 March.

The incident began earlier with a silver BMW reportedly being driven aggressively towards a woman in a silver Mercedes on the A30 and A39.

Both cars stopped at the traffic lights at the junction of A39 Newquay Road and Tregolls Road, near to Dunelm store.

A man then got out of the BMW and the woman was subjected to verbal abuse.

Her car door was then scratched with a car key, causing around £350 damage.

Officers are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have captured it on their dashcam or mobile phone.
