Police appeal after Penzance theft and assault

Police are continuing their appeal after an assault and theft which took place in Penzance.

Two people attended a Sports Direct store in on Market Jew Street and stole several items. After leaving the store they attacked a member of staff in a park area nearby.

The victim was punched and kicked in the face and ribs whilst on the floor, they suffered a broken nose and had two front teeth chipped as a result.

The police stated: "Since the incident was reported officers have explored numerous lines of investigation including house to house and detailed CCTV trawls."
