Police seek to identify individual involved in Coventry cash scam

Police in Coventry are looking to identify a man associated with a scam where a city centre resident was duped into handing over £3,500.

The victim was contacted by an individual impersonating a police officer who instructed him to withdraw the cash and give it to a courier.

Authorities are eager to speak with a man who was in Coventry City Centre around 11th August last year in relation to the incident.
