Two teenage girls sexually assaulted at Plymouth music festival
A 27-year-old man from Tavistock has been arrested in connection with the incident
Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an investigation after two teenage girls were alleged sexual assault at a music festival in Plymouth.
Officers were alerted to an incident taking place at the This Ain't Texas festival which had been taking place at Home Park in the city on July 18th.
It was reported that the incident took place at around 6pm, with the girls later reporting the incident.
A 27-year-old man from Tavistock was later arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Police are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident take place, or anything suspicious at the festival to come forward.
