Person rescued after 30ft fall at Calenick Creek near Truro

The person was attended to by critical care paramedics after being brought to safety

A person has been rescued after falling down a bank at Calenick Creek near Truro.

The incident occurred on the early morning of 22nd February 2026, prompting a coordinated effort by several emergency response teams.

St Agnes Coastguard Search & Rescue Team, along with Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team, assisted firefighters, paramedics, and police in the operation.

The individual was brought to safety by firefighters and was treated by critical care paramedics.

The coastguard teams also conducted a search of the area before returning to their station.
