Pedestrian in life-threatening condition in Truro crash
Two vehicles were involved in the incident on Friday (30 May)
A pedestrian has been seriously injured after a crash in Truro.
Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that the woman was hurt after the incident, which also involved two vehicles on Friday night (May 30).
Emergency services were called around 11.15pm after the incident on the old A30 between Three Burrows and Blackwater.
We're told by officers that the 30-year-old woman from Truro was walking on the road when she was struck by a Yamaha motorcycle and a Fiat Panda.
She suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
She remains in hospital today (2 June).
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s from Hayle, also sustained a chest injury and was taken to Treliske Hospital.
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended and carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.
They are appealing for witnesses and information and would like to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
