The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is set to become easier and more accessible thanks to the new official Park & Ride service launching this June.

Running from the 12th to the 14th of June, the Shanty Shuttle service marks a first-time partnership between Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, designed to streamline travel for festival-goers.

Attendees can hop aboard the double-decker Shanty Shuttle, which promises continuous service throughout the festivities.

The Shanty Shuttle connects Penryn Campus with Ponsharden and The Moor in Falmouth's town centre, locations that place visitors near festival stages, harbourside performances, and lively pubs hosting sea shanty sessions.

Richard Gates, the Festival Committee Chair and Town Manager, said: "The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival continues to grow year on year, and we are delighted to offer an alternative travel option for attendees this year.

"The Shanty Shuttle makes it easier than ever to get into town and enjoy everything the festival and Falmouth itself has to offer."

Visitors should head to Penryn Campus located at Treliever Road, Penryn (postcode TR10 9FE), where clear signage will guide them to parking.

From there, a designated bus stop on campus awaits, ready to transport attendees into the heart of Falmouth’s celebrations.

To return, visitors can board the Shanty Shuttle back to Penryn Campus from The Moor's designated stop with payment for parking at pay stations on-site.
